COVID Live Stream Series: Live from Castle Blackamore

May 8, 2020

It’s been a year since I launched the campaign for my new record, Acres. Between a hospital stay, some major life changes, and now COVID, things have taken a bit longer than we had thought.

To be able to catch up, amazing poet Robin Dionne and I decided to host a live stream series from our home that we call, Castle Blackamore. The episodes are hosted live on Facebook and will be uploaded to this page as they happen.

Episode 1

Tune in to catch-up, watch me play a few songs, Robin and I read poems, get a sneak peak at my new music video, catch a glimpse of some album artwork, and hear a couple of songs and poems from some of my favorite people, including:

Haunt the House
John Faraone
Brian McKenzie
Stev DelMonico of The Quahogs
Michael Graham Adamowicz
Evan Gavry
Poet Jeff Danielian
Producer Bruce Pierce from American Bull Studios
Photographer Carly Rae Photo

Episode 2

In the second live stream from Castle Blackamore, Robin and I share songs, poetry, and stories with a few very special guests:

Stev DelMonico from The Quahogs
Evan Gavry / Captain Bunny Dangerfingers
Mary Bee
Gray Bouchard
Writer Fallon Masterson

Episode 3

For the third live stream, not only will be sharing songs and poetry with some special guests, but artist Carolyn Marsden, who is designing the artwork for my record will bring us through her new photography project. Other guests include:

By some unbelievable stroke of luck and fate, I me By some unbelievable stroke of luck and fate, I met my wife only a year ago this weekend on the 17th floor of the @graduatehotels in Providence for the @sojournerri Masquerade Ball. All year long we talked about heading back to the 17th floor again. With COVID, The Graduate in Providence never reopened and I was ready to spend the weekend together at Castle Blackamore... cheeseballing it up.

Today, @yes.dear took me on a secret car ride and when we stopped we were @graduatehotels in New Haven where we watched the virtual Masquerade Ball. I’ve been out cheeseballed.

This year has been hard on all of us. My wife is incredible and her thoughtfulness has been a bottomless book of matches in the dark. I say it all the time, so much so that I’m sure most of you wish I’d stop already, but I cannot believe how lucky I am.

Let me tell you a little about my best bud, @cbfie Let me tell you a little about my best bud, @cbfields. For over 20 years we’ve been making questionable decisions with heavy machinery, laughing like idiots at the idiocy of others, investing small fortunes in animals, and most importantly, picking each other up when life couldn’t look worse.

He has sat by my side in hospital beds to cheer me up, he’s helped me with 7 moves in the last 10 years, he didn’t punch me in the face when I drunkenly lit his leg on fire with a marshmallow, and he’s the most kind, supportive, reliable, and perfectly weird guy I’ll know and he has never once asked for anything in return. He went above and beyond for our wedding - it couldn’t have happened without him...

Colin, thank you for everything.

Ladies, by some act of god this man is single. DM for details. ;)
