December 21st and 22nd! – Boston and Cambridge!

November 25, 2011

2 great shows coming up!

First, on December 21st we’ll be celebrating The Band’s 1968 debut album “Music From Big Pink” by teaming up with Patrick Coman and the Lo-Fi Angels, Sam Otis Hill and Co., and others.  The extra cool part is that we will be PLAYING THE ALBUM FROM COVER TO COVER!  This is a once and a lifetime show and I’m thrilled to pay homage to one of my greatest influences.

December 21st
For the Sake of the Song: Music From Big Pink
Great Scott
1222 Commonwealth Ave.
Alston, MA
9:00pm

Then, we’ll keep the party going the next night, across the river at one of our favorite clubs, Toad!  This show is FREE and we’ll be joined by some of our favorite special guests (TBA)

December 22nd
TOAD
1912 Massachusetts Ave.
Cambridge, MA
10:00pm

Hope to see you out there!

By some unbelievable stroke of luck and fate, I me By some unbelievable stroke of luck and fate, I met my wife only a year ago this weekend on the 17th floor of the @graduatehotels in Providence for the @sojournerri Masquerade Ball. All year long we talked about heading back to the 17th floor again. With COVID, The Graduate in Providence never reopened and I was ready to spend the weekend together at Castle Blackamore... cheeseballing it up.

Today, @yes.dear took me on a secret car ride and when we stopped we were @graduatehotels in New Haven where we watched the virtual Masquerade Ball. I’ve been out cheeseballed.

This year has been hard on all of us. My wife is incredible and her thoughtfulness has been a bottomless book of matches in the dark. I say it all the time, so much so that I’m sure most of you wish I’d stop already, but I cannot believe how lucky I am.

Let me tell you a little about my best bud, @cbfie Let me tell you a little about my best bud, @cbfields. For over 20 years we’ve been making questionable decisions with heavy machinery, laughing like idiots at the idiocy of others, investing small fortunes in animals, and most importantly, picking each other up when life couldn’t look worse.

He has sat by my side in hospital beds to cheer me up, he’s helped me with 7 moves in the last 10 years, he didn’t punch me in the face when I drunkenly lit his leg on fire with a marshmallow, and he’s the most kind, supportive, reliable, and perfectly weird guy I’ll know and he has never once asked for anything in return. He went above and beyond for our wedding - it couldn’t have happened without him...

Colin, thank you for everything.

Ladies, by some act of god this man is single. DM for details. ;)

I know that we just got married and all, but possi I know that we just got married and all, but possibly my happiest moment in life was when we were given the “Funniest Costume” award by Violet, @chaseface81’s rad 4 year old at a very socially distanced Halloween shindig. I’m probably more proud of my MiniLab™️ than Elizabeth Holmes is of hers.

PS - I did later upgrade the MiniLab™️ with a pumpkin carving knife to add a cup holder.
